Structural Plywood & Veneer-Based Products Workshop

Structural Plywood & Veneer-Based Products Workshop

March 27th-28th, 2018

CH2M Hill Alumni Center

Oregon State University, Corvallis, OR

Beginning in 1968 and for nearly 40 years thereafter, OSU offered an annual Plywood Manufacturing workshop.  In fact, coincidentally, the last session of the workshop was held in 2005 – the year the plywood industry celebrated its centennial.  The workshop has been on hiatus since that time following retirements and job changes for the key organizers of the event.

Well we're pleased to announce that the workshop is back for 2018!  And we've added topics related to other veneer-based products such as LVL and engineered wood products and of course, updated the topics to address the state-of-the-art in the industry.

Industry experts will present details of each key step involved in the production of plywood and other veneer-based products, as well as share information on innovations in products and processing technology for this vibrant sector of the forest industry.

Cost: $750. Click here to register.  Please contact Michelle Maller (michelle.maller@oregonstate.edu) with any questions.
